I am quickly recovering from the surgery. Some of my fingers had been numb for months. The operation went well; I can now feel my fingertips. However, there are still problems. I will probably need additional surgery this winter. But at least it's a start.

I apologize for my abrupt disappearance from dA. I felt really emo about my hands. dA reminded me of my failures; I tried to empty my site. My gallery was frustrating. It was maddening to view sculptures that I had created when I was healthier.

I have been told by multiple doctors that my hands may revert back to their previous state despite the surgery. For this reason, I have altered my lifestyle. I won't consider sculpting as a career anymore. And I won't use polymer clay. Even if it's conditioned with a pasta machine, polymer clay is still too taxing on my hands. However, I may play with soft porcelain occassionally.

Today I reached my dream of 10,000 views. It came true today, on July 7 - Tanabata. Tanabata of all days... it must be fate haha.
